The W List On Facebook

08/27/2007

So many amazing women bloggers were reaching out to each other in support, friendship and celebration. To continue the conversation and start some new ones Janice_joplin_vase_200_name The W List Facebook Group has been created.

It's our place to dish the dirt about social media and well .. whatever we like. Check it out .. use it as you want. Let's see how it grows organically. But as Tammy Lenski says," .. even organic farmers do a few things to urge the sprouts along!" So drop a comment here or on the Facebook wall what should we do with this? Feel free to start a discussion. Have fun!

Sidebar: Facebook is free but it's a closed social networking platform available only to members. If you want to play and don't have an account sign-up at Facebook.

Hi 'Diva'

Tiny request, could you please loose the last L from the name of my blog? "The Kiss Business too" is indeed used as a business tool, but that's not its name ;-)

One woman blogger organized this list by topic and title. I think it should be presented in organized fashion this way and made available on everyone's blog permanently as a category. One blogger did present it by topic and description...another listed it permanently in her blog roll. It is a very good idea, methinks.

Thanks, Toby. Really fun way to continue the W conversation!

Cool! I've joined the Facebook group, and I'm so happy to be part of this amazing list! Thank you.

Best,
Rebecca

Thanks for setting all this up!

Toby, thanks for establishing the W List as a Facebook group. It's another great way to keep the list -- and the conversation around it -- going.

Posted by: Connie Reece on Aug 27, 2007 10:50:06 AM

Thank you, Toby, for putting this out on Facebook! I guess I really do need to go join up over there.

It would be great if we can find just one place to keep all this, though. Facebook - wiki - categorized lists, what's a girl to do? :-)

Suggestions, ladies??

Posted by: Becky Carroll on Aug 27, 2007 11:34:33 AM

Thanks - what a great reason to become an active facebooker.

Posted by: Mary Hunt on Aug 27, 2007 12:54:36 PM

Great idea! Very interesting way to take this into a social network that already exists. . .

Posted by: Tiffany Monhollon on Aug 27, 2007 1:55:45 PM

Thanks everyone. Enjoy, play, make friends, discuss, debate ..

Karin - Updated your blog title

Susan - Carolyn is going to update the wiki and add categories.

Hey there, Toby - Thanks for getting the momentum going by announcing the Facebook group. I'll put up a post today too!

Posted by: Tammy on Aug 28, 2007 5:27:21 AM

Love the Facebook idea - I'm there!

Posted by: Roberta Rosenberg on Aug 28, 2007 7:37:10 AM

It's time to start the conversation, ladies. I posted a question on the W list on Facebook. If you've a mind to, post an answer. If not, start a new conversation. The world is eager to hear what we ladies think, about everything.

Nice on Toby! I've also joined the Facebbok group. Thanks too for a great blog :-D xxDD
