Chrysler's Firehouse Blog
Sep 14, 2005
Chrysler Media Group joins the growing list of Fortune 100s to launch a blog ... calling it Firehouse.biz. You have to register ... which I did but couldn't access the blog. Perhaps you'll have better luck.
By the way, here's another set of guidelines for your files.
Rules of the Blog
1-In the spirit of honest, free-flowing conversation we'd
prefer you post comments using your real name, but you will be given
the opportunity to post under a screen name.
2-Users must stay on topic within any given thread. New topics must be made the subject of a new thread.
3- In DaimlerChrysler's sole discretion, blog administrators retain the
right to edit, remove or refuse to post submissions which are
determined to be off-topic, offensive, indecent, harmful, harassing,
intimidating, threatening, objectionable, discriminatory, abusive,
vulgar, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, intended to promote
or commit an illegal act, libelous, defamatory, or racially, sexually,
culturally, or ethnically offensive.
4-Blog administrators retain the right to ask the user to re-write a
proposed submission to comply with the rules of the blog before being
posted.
5-DaimlerChrysler does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of
user postings, nor does DaimlerChrysler offer any warranties as to any
information posted on the blog by users.
6-Blog users must not post unsolicited advertising, or spam.
7-Blog users must not post sensitive personal information.
8-Blog users may not impersonate other users or individuals.
9-Proprietary information may be inadvertently posted on the blog.
DaimlerChrysler blog administrators will act to remove it as soon as
possible, and users who have viewed the information will be asked to
disregard and not re-distribute it.
10-Users must not post information or questions regarding personnel or employment-related issues.
11-The FireHouse.biz is not intended as a forum for outside
suggestions, including but not limited to those which pertain to
vehicle design, product attributes, marketing or advertising, and no
such material will be posted.
12-Users grant DaimlerChrysler a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive
worldwide right and license to material they post, including but not
limited to the right to publish their name and likeness.
13-Users accept full responsibility for their postings and are legally
responsible for all content they post on the blog, including but not
limited to content which contains their own copyrighted material or the
copyrighted material or proprietary information of a third party. Users
warrant and represent that their postings do not contain infringing
materials or proprietary information, nor links to such materials or
information.
