Fred has chosen King Ping for the name of his new free ping service. Thanks to all for helping name the bebe. Never satisfied, it seems Fred is working on a new version that should be released within a few weeks.

Yup, a new, with a totally different user interface.
Take into account that there is also a new domain name: http://www.kping.com. It is just a forward to the current page, for the moment. However if the service growth too much, I will put it on another server and redirect the domain name, so nobody will see anything.
Thank for the post Toby. I will also ask if someone would be willing to create a logo for the service when the next version will be up.

It appears King Ping will be a royal success, a crowning glory, if you will. I would say it's a crown jewel, but that would be a bit too princely. :-)
