Blogger Stories: John Cass

Business bloggers owe John Cass a round of applause for his work on one of the first research studies about corporate blogs. John is Director of Blogging Strategies for Backbone Media, Inc.

John_cass Blogger Story Teller: John Cass, Backbone Corporate Blogging Survey; PR Communications

I started my blog PR Communications because I wanted to find out if blogging could help raise search engine rankings for my clients.  I discovered that and more.  Blogging can help a company to create a dialogue with customers.

I've continued to blog for three years, and I've run three corporate blogs with three companies.  Quotium Technologies, 48hourprint.com and now Backbone Media, Inc.

The PR Communications blog has helped me get my last three jobs, and for my last job was the reason I was hired.  Blogging has given me a place to test ideas and learn from them.  Blogging has given me new contacts and I've made new friends.
